Dionne Warwick is an American singer, actress, and television show host, born on December 12, 1940, in East Orange, New Jersey. She rose to fame in the 1960s with a string of hit songs, many of which were written by the songwriting duo Burt Bacharach and Hal David. Warwick's signature hits include "Walk On By," "I Say a Little Prayer," and "Do You Know the Way to San Jose."
Throughout her career, Dionne Warwick has won five Grammy Awards and has sold over 25 million records worldwide. In addition to her successful music career, Warwick has also appeared in several films and television shows. She was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2008 and continues to perform and record music to this day.
