Artist Bio:
D.J. Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince was an American hip hop duo consisting of DJ Jazzy Jeff (Jeffrey Allen Townes) and rapper The Fresh Prince (Will Smith). The duo rose to fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s with hits such as "Parents Just Don't Understand" and "Summertime." They were known for their lighthearted and humorous approach to rap music, often incorporating comedic elements into their songs.

Their debut album, "Rock the House," was released in 1987, followed by the highly successful "He's the DJ, I'm the Rapper" in 1988, which won the first-ever Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance. The duo's success helped launch Will Smith's acting career, leading to his starring role in the popular sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." Despite their commercial success, the duo parted ways in the early 1990s to pursue solo careers, with Will Smith achieving even greater success as a solo artist and actor.
