His follow-up albums, including "Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood" and "...And Then There Was X," further solidified his status as one of the leading figures in hardcore rap.
DMX's music often explored themes of struggle, pain, and redemption, drawing from his own troubled past and experiences with addiction. His raw and emotional performances resonated with fans, earning him a dedicated following. In addition to his music career, DMX also appeared in several films, including "Romeo Must Die" and "Cradle 2 the Grave."
