Do Or Die is a hip-hop group from Chicago, Illinois, consisting of members Belo Zero, N.A.R.D., and AK-47. The group gained recognition in the mid-1990s and is known for their hardcore rap style and gritty lyrics. They are considered pioneers of the Chicago rap scene and have released several albums, including their debut album "Picture This" in 1996 and "Heads or Tails" in 1998.
Twista, whose real name is Carl Terrell Mitchell, is a rapper and record producer also from Chicago, Illinois. He is known for his fast-paced rapping style and has been credited with popularizing the tongue-twisting style of rap. Twista collaborated with Do Or Die on the hit single "Po Pimp" from their debut album, which helped both artists gain national attention and commercial success. The collaboration between Do Or Die and Twista remains one of the most iconic in Chicago hip-hop history.
