Dokken achieved commercial success with their albums such as "Tooth and Nail" (1984) and "Under Lock and Key" (1985), which both achieved platinum status in the United States.
The band went through several lineup changes over the years, with Don Dokken being the only constant member. Despite these changes, Dokken continued to release music and tour, maintaining a dedicated fan base. Their most well-known songs include "Breaking the Chains," "Alone Again," and "In My Dreams."
