Don Henley is an American musician, singer, and songwriter who is best known as a founding member of the Eagles, one of the most successful and influential rock bands of all time. Henley was born on July 22, 1947, in Gilmer, Texas. He was the lead vocalist and drummer for the Eagles, contributing to their signature harmonies and songwriting.


Aside from his work with the Eagles, Henley has also had a successful solo career, releasing several hit albums including "I Can't Stand Still" and "The End of the Innocence." He is known for his introspective lyrics and his ability to blend rock, country, and folk influences in his music. Henley has won multiple Grammy Awards both as a solo artist and as a member of the Eagles, and he has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of the band.
