In addition to his work as a musician, Don Nix is also a talented songwriter, penning songs for artists like Aretha Franklin, Freddie King, and the band The Animals. Nix is perhaps best known for his song "Going Down," which has been covered by numerous artists and has become a blues-rock standard.
