Don Ray was a French musician and producer born as Raymond Donnez on April 8, 1942, in Brussels, Belgium. He was known for his work in the disco and electronic music genres during the 1970s and 1980s. Don Ray first gained recognition as a member of the French disco group Black Devil, where he played keyboards and produced music. He later embarked on a solo career, releasing his debut album "Garden of Love" in 1978, which featured the popular disco track "Got to Have Loving."
In addition to his solo work, Don Ray collaborated with other notable artists such as Cerrone and Alec R. Costandinos.
