Artist Bio:
Donna Fargo is an American country music singer and songwriter who gained fame in the 1970s. She was born as Yvonne Vaughn in Mount Airy, North Carolina on November 10, 1945. Fargo is best known for her hit song "The Happiest Girl in the Whole USA," which earned her a Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance in 1973.


Fargo released a number of successful albums throughout the 1970s and 1980s, with several of her singles reaching the top of the country music charts. In addition to her music career, she also wrote a book titled "The Donna Fargo Story: Song of a Happiest Girl," which was published in 1978. Fargo continues to be regarded as a prominent figure in country music history, with her music still being enjoyed by fans around the world.
