Donny Gerrard is a Canadian singer and songwriter who is best known for his work as a solo artist as well as for his collaborations with various bands and musicians. He gained recognition in the 1970s as a member of the R&B group Skylark, which achieved success with their hit song "Wildflower."
After leaving Skylark, Gerrard pursued a solo career and released several albums, including his self-titled debut album in 1976. He is also known for his work as a session musician, lending his vocals to recordings by artists such as Steely Dan, Toto, and Quincy Jones. Gerrard's soulful voice and versatile musical style have earned him a dedicated following among fans of R&B and soul music.
