Donny Osmond is an American singer, actor, and former teen idol who was born on December 9, 1957, in Ogden, Utah. He gained fame as a member of the sibling singing group, The Osmonds, alongside his brothers. Donny Osmond later embarked on a successful solo career, releasing hit songs such as "Puppy Love" and "Go Away Little Girl." He also starred in various musicals, including a successful run as Joseph in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."


In addition to his music career, Donny Osmond has appeared on television shows, including hosting and performing on "Donny & Marie," a variety show he co-hosted with his sister Marie Osmond. He also won the ninth season of "Dancing with the Stars" in 2009. Donny Osmond continues to perform and release music, showcasing his enduring popularity and talent in the entertainment industry.
