Artist Bio:
Doucette is a Canadian rock band that was formed in the 1970s. The band's original lineup consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist Jerry Doucette, bassist Dave Cramoy, keyboardist Duris Maxwell, and drummer Jim Ayoub. They gained popularity in the mid-1970s with their hit single "Mama Let Him Play" from their self-titled debut album released in 1977. The song reached the top ten on the Canadian charts and became their most well-known song.
After the success of their debut album, Doucette released a few more albums in the late 1970s and early 1980s, including "The Douce Is Loose" in 1978 and "Mama Let Him Play" in 1979. However, the band did not achieve the same level of success with these subsequent releases. Despite their brief period of success, Doucette eventually disbanded, but their music continues to be remembered by fans of classic rock.
