Artist Bio:
Duane Eddy is an American guitarist known for his influential work in the rock and roll genre. He was born on April 26, 1938, in Corning, New York, and grew up in Arizona. Eddy is best known for his distinctive "twangy" guitar sound, which he achieved by playing his guitar with a signature style that emphasized low notes and reverberation. His instrumental hits in the late 1950s and early 1960s, such as "Rebel Rouser" and "Peter Gunn," helped define the sound of rock and roll music during that era.

The Rebelettes were a group of female backup singers who frequently performed with Duane Eddy during his live shows and recordings. The group provided vocal support and harmonies to Eddy's guitar playing, adding depth and texture to his sound. The Rebelettes were an essential part of Eddy's stage presence and contributed to the overall success of his performances.
