Artist Bio:
Duane Eddy is an American guitarist known for his signature "twangy" sound and pioneering role in the development of rock and roll music. He was born on April 26, 1938, in Corning, New York. Eddy rose to fame in the late 1950s and early 1960s with instrumental rock and roll hits such as "Rebel Rouser" and "Peter Gunn."

Eddy's distinctive style of playing the guitar, which involved using a tremolo effect and playing low notes on the bass strings, influenced many musicians and helped define the sound of early rock music. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994 and continues to perform and record music to this day.
