He is often referred to as the "King of Twang" and is recognized for popularizing the "twangy" guitar style in rock music.


Eddy's signature sound was achieved by playing lead guitar with a low bass range, creating a deep and resonant tone. Some of his most famous hits include "Rebel Rouser," "Peter Gunn," and "Because They're Young." Eddy's innovative guitar techniques and unique sound have had a lasting impact on the rock and roll genre, influencing countless musicians and bands.
