Duke Jupiter was a rock band formed in Rochester, New York in 1976. The band was known for their energetic live performances and a sound that blended elements of rock, pop, and new wave music. Duke Jupiter released several albums throughout the 1980s, including "Sweet Cheeks" in 1982 and "White Knuckle Ride" in 1983. They achieved moderate success with singles like "I'll Drink to You" and "The Line of Your Fire."
The band toured extensively throughout the United States, playing in clubs and opening for major acts such as The Beach Boys and The Doobie Brothers. Duke Jupiter disbanded in the late 1980s, but their music continues to be remembered by fans of 1980s rock music.
