Duran Duran is a British new wave band formed in Birmingham in 1978. The band's original lineup consisted of Nick Rhodes, John Taylor, Roger Taylor, Andy Taylor, and Simon Le Bon. They quickly rose to fame in the 1980s with a string of hit singles and albums that blended synth-pop, rock, and disco influences. Some of their most popular songs include "Hungry Like the Wolf," "Rio," and "The Reflex."


Known for their stylish image and innovative music videos, Duran Duran became one of the most successful bands of the 1980s. They have sold over 100 million records worldwide and have won several awards throughout their career, including two Grammy Awards. Duran Duran continues to record and tour to this day, maintaining a dedicated fan base around the world.
