Eagles is an American rock band that was formed in Los Angeles in 1971. The original members were Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon, and Randy Meisner. They are known for their harmonious vocals, intricate guitar work, and well-crafted songs. Their music is often classified as country rock, soft rock, and classic rock. The band's most successful period was in the 1970s, during which they released several hit albums including "Hotel California" and "Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975)", which is one of the best-selling albums of all time in the United States.


Despite going through lineup changes over the years, Eagles have continued to tour and release new music. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 and have won multiple Grammy Awards. Some of their most famous songs include "Take It Easy," "Desperado," "One of These Nights," and "Take It to the Limit." Eagles' music has had a lasting influence on the rock genre and they remain one of the best-selling bands of all time.
