Artist Bio:
Eddie Holland is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer, born on October 30, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan. He is best known for being one-third of the legendary Motown songwriting and production team Holland-Dozier-Holland, along with his brother Brian Holland and Lamont Dozier. Together, they wrote and produced numerous hit songs for artists like The Supremes, The Four Tops, and Martha and the Vandellas during the 1960s.


As a member of Holland-Dozier-Holland, Eddie Holland co-wrote many iconic Motown hits, including "You Can't Hurry Love," "Stop! In the Name of Love," and "Heat Wave." In 1988, Holland was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in recognition of his contributions to the music industry. Eddie Holland's work continues to be celebrated and remembered as an integral part of the Motown sound and legacy.
