Artist Bio:
Eddie Kendricks was an American singer and songwriter best known for his time as the lead vocalist of the iconic R&B group The Temptations. Born in 1939 in Alabama, Kendricks joined The Temptations in 1960 and contributed to many of their biggest hits including "My Girl" and "Get Ready." Known for his distinctive falsetto voice, Kendricks was a key part of the group's success during the 1960s and early 1970s.


In 1971, Kendricks left The Temptations to pursue a solo career. He achieved success as a solo artist with hits like "Keep On Truckin'" and "Boogie Down." Kendricks' smooth vocals and charismatic stage presence solidified his status as a soul music legend. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Temptations in 1989. Kendricks passed away in 1992, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the world of R&B and soul music.
