Artist Bio:
Eddie Money, born Edward Joseph Mahoney on March 21, 1949, was an American rock singer-songwriter known for hits such as "Take Me Home Tonight," "Two Tickets to Paradise," and "Baby Hold On." He began his music career in the 1970s and rose to fame in the late 1970s and 1980s with his energetic stage presence and catchy tunes. Money released a string of successful albums throughout his career, including his self-titled debut album in 1977 and "No Control" in 1982.


In addition to his music, Eddie Money was known for his distinctive raspy voice and charismatic personality. He continued to perform and tour for several decades, building a loyal fan base along the way. Unfortunately, Eddie Money passed away on September 13, 2019, at the age of 70 after battling esophageal cancer. Despite his untimely death, his music continues to be celebrated by fans and fellow musicians alike.
