Arnold began his music career in the 1940s and had his first major hit in 1945 with "Each Minute Seems a Million Years." Throughout his career, he released over 100 albums and more than 100 singles, with hits such as "Make the World Go Away," "Cattle Call," and "I'll Hold You in My Heart (Till I Can Hold You in My Arms)."
Arnold was known for his smooth vocals, crossover appeal, and innovative approach to country music. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1966 and the Grand Ole Opry in 1943, where he became a regular performer. Eddy Arnold's contributions to country music have left a lasting impact on the genre, and he is remembered as a true legend in the industry. Arnold passed away on May 8, 2008, at the age of 89.
