Artist Bio:
Eddy Arnold was an American country music singer, guitarist, and songwriter born on May 15, 1918, in Henderson, Tennessee. Known as the "Tennessee Plowboy," he was one of the most successful country musicians of the 20th century. Arnold had over 85 million records sold, with hits such as "Make the World Go Away" and "Cattle Call."


Arnold was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1966 and the Grand Ole Opry in 1943. Throughout his career, he released over 100 albums and had more than 145 songs on the Billboard charts. Arnold's smooth voice and crossover appeal helped him become a pioneer in the country music genre, influencing many artists that followed in his footsteps. He passed away on May 8, 2008, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the world of country music.
