He is considered one of the most successful country music artists of all time, known for his smooth vocals and crossover appeal. Arnold had over 145 songs on the Billboard country music charts, including hits like "Make the World Go Away" and "Cattle Call."


Throughout his career, Eddy Arnold released over 100 albums and sold more than 85 million records worldwide. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1966 and the Grand Ole Opry in 1943, where he remained a member until his death.
