Artist Bio:
Eddy Arnold was an American country music singer, songwriter, and guitarist, born on May 15, 1918, in Henderson, Tennessee. Known as the "Tennessee Plowboy," Arnold was one of the most successful country music artists of the 20th century. He recorded over 100 albums and charted more than 140 singles on the Billboard country charts, with hits like "Make the World Go Away," "Cattle Call," and "Anytime."


Arnold was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1966 and the Grand Ole Opry in 1943. He was also a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame's inaugural class in 2001. Throughout his career, Arnold received numerous awards and accolades, including multiple Grammy nominations and the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005. Eddy Arnold passed away on May 8, 2008, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the world of country music.
