Arnold began his career in the 1940s and had numerous hits, including "Make the World Go Away," "Cattle Call," and "I'll Hold You in My Heart (Till I Can Hold You in My Arms)." He was known for his smooth vocals and innovative combination of country and pop music styles.
Arnold was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1966 and the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2000. Throughout his career, he released over 100 albums and sold more than 85 million records worldwide.
