Edward Bear, also known as Ed the Bear, is a Canadian musician, singer, and songwriter. He is best known as a founding member and the lead vocalist of the Canadian rock band Edward Bear. The band was formed in 1966 in Toronto, Ontario, and achieved commercial success in the early 1970s with hits such as "Last Song" and "You, Me and Mexico."


Edward Bear released five albums between 1970 and 1974 before disbanding in 1974. After the breakup of the band, Edward Bear pursued a solo career and continued to perform in the music industry. Throughout his career, Edward Bear has been recognized for his soulful voice and songwriting abilities, contributing to the success of the band during their active years in the music industry.
