Artist Bio:
Elastica was a British rock band formed in London in 1992. The band's lineup consisted of Justine Frischmann (vocals, guitar), Donna Matthews (guitar), Annie Holland (bass), and Justin Welch (drums). Elastica was part of the Britpop movement in the 1990s and gained popularity with their self-titled debut album, released in 1995. The album included hit singles such as "Connection" and "Stutter" and received critical acclaim for its blend of punk rock and new wave influences.

Elastica's music was known for its catchy hooks, minimalist sound, and Frischmann's deadpan vocals. The band's success was short-lived, with internal tensions and legal issues leading to their breakup in 2001. Despite their relatively brief career, Elastica left a lasting impact on the alternative music scene of the 1990s, with their music continuing to be influential to this day.
