The band is known for their fusion of rock and classical music elements, incorporating orchestral instruments such as strings, woodwinds, and brass into their sound. ELO achieved massive commercial success in the 1970s and 1980s with hit songs like "Mr. Blue Sky," "Don't Bring Me Down," and "Livin' Thing."

Throughout their career, ELO released a string of successful albums, including "A New World Record" and "Out of the Blue."
