Elton John, born Reginald Kenneth Dwight on March 25, 1947, is a British singer, songwriter, and pianist who has had a prolific career spanning over five decades. He is one of the best-selling music artists in the world, with over 300 million records sold. John is known for his flamboyant stage presence and eclectic musical style that blends pop, rock, and glam rock elements. Some of his most famous songs include "Rocket Man," "Tiny Dancer," and "Your Song."


Throughout his career, Elton John has received numerous accolades, including five Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and an Academy Award. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994 and knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1998 for his contributions to music and charitable work.
