Artist Bio:
Emerson, Lake & Powell was a British rock band formed in 1985. The group consisted of Keith Emerson on keyboards, Greg Lake on vocals and bass, and Carl Palmer on drums. This lineup was a variation of the band Emerson, Lake & Palmer, with drummer Cozy Powell replacing Palmer.
Emerson, Lake & Powell released one self-titled album in 1986, which featured a mix of original songs and reworked versions of classic Emerson, Lake & Palmer tracks. The album was well-received by critics and fans, with its sound leaning more towards a straightforward rock style compared to the progressive rock of Emerson, Lake & Palmer. However, the band disbanded shortly after due to conflicts between members and the difficulty of establishing a new identity separate from Emerson, Lake & Palmer.
