Artist Bio:
EMF, which stands for Ecstasy Motherf***er, was a British alternative dance band formed in Cinderford, Gloucestershire in 1989. The band's original lineup consisted of James Atkin (vocals), Ian Dench (guitar), Derry Brownson (keyboards), Mark Decloedt (drums), and Zac Foley (bass). EMF gained popularity in the early 1990s with their debut album "Schubert Dip," released in 1991. The album included their biggest hit "Unbelievable," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States.
Following the success of "Unbelievable," EMF released two more albums, "Stigma" in 1992 and "Cha Cha Cha" in 1995, before disbanding in 1997. Despite their relatively short career, EMF left a lasting impact on the alternative dance and indie music scene of the early 1990s with their energetic performances and catchy, guitar-driven sound.
