Enchantment was an American R&B band formed in Detroit, Michigan in the mid-1960s. The group was originally known as The Majestics, but changed their name to Enchantment in the early 1970s. The band's lineup consisted of Emanuel "E.J." Johnson, Bobby Green, Joe Thomas, Dave Banks, Mickey Clanton, and Edgar "Mickey" Clanton Jr.
Enchantment gained popularity in the 1970s and 1980s with their smooth, soulful sound and romantic ballads. Some of their most well-known songs include "Gloria," "It's You That I Need," and "Sunshine." The group released several albums throughout their career, including "Enchantment," "Once Upon a Dream," and "Journey to the Land of... Enchantment." Enchantment's music continues to be appreciated by fans of classic R&B and soul music.
