Erasure is an English synth-pop duo formed in 1985 consisting of singer Andy Bell and keyboardist Vince Clarke. They are known for their catchy pop hooks, upbeat dance tunes, and flamboyant stage presence. Erasure gained popularity in the late 1980s and early 1990s with hits such as "A Little Respect," "Chains of Love," and "Always."


The duo has released over 20 studio albums, selling over 25 million records worldwide. They have achieved multiple top 10 singles in the UK and have had success on the US dance charts as well.
