Artist Bio:
Eric Burdon and War was a collaboration between English singer Eric Burdon and American funk band War in the early 1970s. The group was formed after Burdon joined forces with War, who were originally known as The Creators. They released their debut album, "Eric Burdon Declares War," in 1970, which included the hit single "Spill the Wine." The album was a successful fusion of Burdon's bluesy rock vocals and War's funky, Latin-influenced rhythms.

Their second album, "The Black-Man's Burdon," was released in 1971 and featured socially conscious lyrics and a blend of rock, funk, and soul music. The collaboration between Eric Burdon and War was short-lived, as they parted ways in 1971. Despite their brief time together, the music they created left a lasting impact on the music scene, influencing future generations of musicians with their unique sound and socially relevant lyrics.
