Artist Bio:
Eric Burdon & The Animals were a British rock band formed in Newcastle upon Tyne in the early 1960s. The band was led by vocalist Eric Burdon and had a blues-influenced sound that set them apart from other British Invasion bands of the time. They gained popularity with hits such as "The House of the Rising Sun," "We Gotta Get Out of This Place," and "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood."


The Animals were known for their energetic live performances and powerful vocals, with Burdon's distinctive voice being a key element of their sound. The band went through several lineup changes over the years before disbanding in 1969. Eric Burdon continues to perform as a solo artist and with various incarnations of The Animals, keeping the band's music alive for new generations of fans.
