Erick Sermon, born on November 25, 1968, is an American rapper, musician, and record producer. He is best known as one half of the hip hop duo EPMD, along with his partner Parrish Smith. The duo gained popularity in the late 1980s and early 1990s with hits like "You Gots to Chill" and "Crossover."


Sermon has also had a successful solo career, releasing several albums including "No Pressure" and "Double or Nothing." As a producer, he has worked with a variety of artists such as Redman, Keith Murray, and LL Cool J. Sermon is known for his smooth flow, witty lyrics, and innovative production style, making him a respected figure in the hip hop community.
