Eve began her music career as a featured artist on the Ruff Ryders' debut compilation album in 1999. She released her debut album, "Let There Be Eve...Ruff Ryders' First Lady," in 1999, which was a critical and commercial success, earning her a Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for the single "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" featuring Gwen Stefani.
In addition to her music career, Eve has also pursued acting, appearing in films such as "Barbershop" and its sequel, as well as the television show "Eve," in which she starred.
