Extreme is an American rock band formed in 1985 in Boston, Massachusetts. The band consists of vocalist Gary Cherone, guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, bassist Pat Badger, and drummer Kevin Figueiredo. Extreme is known for their eclectic musical style which blends elements of hard rock, funk, pop, and glam metal. They gained mainstream success in the early 1990s with their album "Pornograffitti," which featured the hit singles "More Than Words" and "Hole Hearted."
Extreme has released a total of six studio albums, with their most recent being "Pornograffitti Live 25: Metal Meltdown" in 2016. The band has toured extensively over the years, building a loyal fanbase around the world.
