Gorme also had a successful solo career, releasing albums in both English and Spanish, showcasing her versatility as a singer. She was known for her powerful voice and ability to sing in multiple languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. Gorme won a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in 1967 for her song "If He Walked Into My Life." She continued to perform and record music throughout her career until her passing on August 10, 2013, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the music industry.
