Artist Bio:
Faces was a British rock band formed in 1969 by former members of the Small Faces after lead singer Steve Marriott left the band. The group consisted of Rod Stewart (vocals), Ronnie Wood (guitar), Ronnie Lane (bass), Ian McLagan (keyboards), and Kenney Jones (drums). Faces gained popularity in the early 1970s with their energetic live performances and a mix of rock, blues, and boogie-woogie influences. The band released four studio albums during their career, including "First Step" (1970) and "A Nod Is as Good as a Wink... to a Blind Horse" (1971).
Faces' most well-known songs include "Stay with Me," "Cindy Incidentally," and "Ooh La La." Despite their success, the band faced internal conflicts and eventually disbanded in 1975. Following the breakup, Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood went on to have successful solo careers, while the other members pursued various musical projects. Faces' music continues to be revered by fans of classic rock for their raw and energetic sound.
