Artist Bio:
Falco was an Austrian singer, songwriter, and musician who rose to international fame in the 1980s. He was born on February 19, 1957, in Vienna, Austria, as Johann H├╢lzel. Falco is best known for his hit single "Rock Me Amadeus," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1986, making him the first German-speaking artist to achieve a number one hit in the United States.


In addition to "Rock Me Amadeus," Falco had other successful songs such as "Der Kommissar" and "Vienna Calling." He blended elements of pop, rock, and rap in his music, creating a unique sound that resonated with audiences worldwide. Falco's career was tragically cut short when he died in a car accident on February 6, 1998, at the age of 40. Despite his untimely death, Falco's music continues to be celebrated and remembered for its distinctive style and catchy melodies.
