He was one of the early rock and roll musicians and became one of the biggest stars of the genre in the 1950s and 1960s. Domino is best known for his hits such as "Ain't That a Shame," "Blueberry Hill," and "I'm Walkin'."


Fats Domino was a key figure in the development of rock and roll music, blending elements of rhythm and blues, boogie-woogie, and jazz to create a unique sound. His distinctive piano playing and warm, mellow voice endeared him to audiences around the world. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1987. Fats Domino passed away on October 24, 2017, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the world of music.
