Fats Domino, born Antoine Domino Jr. on February 26, 1928, was an American pianist and singer-songwriter who was one of the pioneers of rock and roll music. He was known for his distinctive boogie-woogie piano playing style and warm, mellow voice. Domino gained popularity in the 1950s and 1960s with hits like "Ain't That a Shame," "Blueberry Hill," and "I'm Walkin'."


Domino was a key figure in the development of rock and roll music, influencing artists such as Elvis Presley and The Beatles. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1987. Fats Domino continued to perform and record music throughout his career, leaving a lasting impact on the music industry before his death on October 24, 2017.
