Fats Domino was a pioneering American pianist and singer-songwriter who was born on February 26, 1928, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a key figure in the development of rock and roll music in the 1950s, with his unique blend of rhythm and blues, boogie-woogie, and New Orleans jazz. Domino was known for his warm, mellow voice and his infectious piano playing style.


Fats Domino had numerous hit songs throughout his career, including "Ain't That a Shame," "Blueberry Hill," and "I'm Walkin'." He was one of the best-selling artists of the 1950s and 1960s, with over 65 million records sold worldwide. Domino was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1987. He passed away on October 24, 2017, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the world of music.
