Fats Domino, born as Antoine Domino Jr. on February 26, 1928, was an American pianist and singer-songwriter who was one of the pioneers of rock and roll music. He gained prominence in the 1950s with his unique blend of rhythm and blues, boogie-woogie, and New Orleans jazz influences. Domino is best known for hits like "Ain't That a Shame," "Blueberry Hill," and "I'm Walkin'."


Fats Domino was a key figure in the early rock and roll era and was one of the best-selling musicians of the 1950s. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1987.
