Fats Domino was a pioneering American rock and roll artist and pianist, born on February 26, 1928, in New Orleans, Louisiana. His real name was Antoine Domino Jr. Domino is considered one of the founding fathers of rock and roll music and was known for his unique piano playing style and smooth vocals. He gained popularity in the 1950s with hits such as "Ain't That a Shame" and "Blueberry Hill."


Throughout his career, Fats Domino had over 35 records in the U.S. Billboard Top 40, and he became one of the best-selling artists of the 1950s. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1987. Fats Domino's music had a significant influence on the development of rock and roll and continues to be celebrated for its infectious rhythm and soulful sound. He passed away on October 24, 2017, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the music industry.
