Artist Bio:
Ferrante & Teicher were a duo of American piano players known for their popular easy listening and classical music arrangements. Arthur Ferrante (1921-2009) and Louis Teicher (1924-2008) met while studying at the Juilliard School of Music in New York City. They began performing together in 1947 and released over 150 albums throughout their career.


Ferrante & Teicher gained widespread acclaim for their unique style, which often included complex arrangements and a fusion of classical and pop music. They were particularly known for their skillful piano duets and innovative use of prepared pianos, which involved altering the sound of the instrument by placing objects on the strings. The duo's music was featured in numerous films, television shows, and commercials, and they were also regular performers on popular TV programs like "The Ed Sullivan Show."
