Ferras Alqaisi, known professionally as Ferras, is an American pop singer-songwriter. He was born on July 2, 1982, in Illinois, USA. Ferras gained recognition in the music industry after signing with Capitol Records in 2007. He released his self-titled EP in 2008, which featured the single "Hollywood's Not America." The song was also used as the farewell theme on the seventh season of American Idol.
Ferras has collaborated with several artists, including Katy Perry, who signed him to her record label, as well as Adam Lambert and Ricky Martin.
