Fine Young Cannibals were a British band formed in Birmingham in 1984. The band consisted of Roland Gift on vocals, David Steele on bass, and Andy Cox on guitar. Their music style blended elements of rock, new wave, and soul, creating a unique sound that resonated with audiences in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Their most successful album, "The Raw & the Cooked," released in 1989, reached number one on the UK Albums Chart and the US Billboard 200 chart. The album featured hit singles such as "She Drives Me Crazy" and "Good Thing," both of which achieved commercial success and received critical acclaim. Fine Young Cannibals disbanded in 1992, but their music continues to be celebrated for its distinctive sound and memorable hits.
